Carlyle Town Council held its regular weekly meeting Wednesday, June 20 at the Carlyle Civic Centre. Council's next meeting will take place at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 18 at the Civic Centre.
Crosswalk
The necessary components for the crosswalk planned on Carlyle's Main Street between the RBC and Observer buildings have arrived and will be installed soon.
Dump truck
The Town of Carlyle has replaced its existing dump truck with a 2006 model costing $35,000.
Grant allocations
Council received notification of provincial grant allocations for the Town of Carlyle from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Government Relations.
Congratulations to Ray Lothian
Mayor Wayne Orsted, members of council and Town of Carlyle staff would like to extend their congratulations and best wishes to Ray Lothian for his 70-year employment anniversary at the Carlyle Bakery and for his contributions to the community.

Demolition of a property located at 215-1st St. West in Carlyle is scheduled.
