Five hurt after SUV crashes into CN train northeast of Regina

EDENWOLD, Sask. — Five people were taken to hospital after an SUV hit a moving CN freight train northeast of Regina.

The crash happened Thursday afternoon in the rural municipality of Edenwold.

RCMP say one of the people that was in the SUV has serious injuries.

Mounties say CN police will take over the investigation.

Road conditions were slippery, although police have not confirmed if that contributed to the crash. (CTV Regina)
