The celebration event will begin with walking tours of the Arcola Health Centre at 4:15 p.m. An evening program and meal will follow at the Arcola Curling Club from 5–6:30 p.m.

“Everyone is welcome to tour the health centre and stay for beef on a bun and program at the Arcola Curling Club,” said Enoch Pambour, the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s manager of the Arcola Health Centre. “We look forward to celebrating this incredible milestone with the community.”

Elementary school students in the area have been invited to make posters of what health care means to them. They will be displayed at the Arcola Health Centre during the week of Sept. 30–Oct. 7 to help commemorate the celebration.

“Celebrating a facility’s 90th anniversary is a significant milestone,” said Maggie Petrychyn, the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s executive director of primary health care for integrated rural health. “The staff at Arcola Health Centre over the years should be proud of how well the facility has been maintained and for the safe and quality care they provide to the community of Arcola.”
