The RCMP in Carlyle and Carnduff are seeking the public’s assistance with incidents in their detachment areas.
The Carlyle RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance with a stolen vehicle.
A blue 2003 GMC Envoy was stolen sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. during the night of Jan. 18. The vehicle was taken from the Wawota Garage Ltd. in Wawota and had half a tank of gas at the time.
Also, the Carlyle RCMP reports that sometime between the night of Jan. 4 and the morning of Jan. 5, a trailer was stolen from a land location near Redvers.
The trailer is described as being an 18-foot enclosed, white with an exterior NASCAR decal, a flawed paint/coating on the exterior door, and with mag wheels.

The Carnduff RCMP is also seeking the public’s assistance with a stolen vehicle.
On Jan. 5, a vehicle theft was reported to the Carnduff RCMP detachment. The involved vehicle was described as a black 2011 Ford F-350 with Saskatchewan licence plate 663 JWJ.
The theft occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. from a Carnduff repair shop. Third party information was received to suggest the vehicle left the Carnduff area eastbound on Highway 18.
The Carnduff RCMP is also investigating a vandalism incident that occurred at Grant Devine Lake (formerly Alameda Dam).
The RCMP was notified by a concerned citizen who observed graffiti on the walls of the spillway at the reservoir. The complainant cautiously described that someone may appreciate the effort but the creative effort does not excuse this as being a criminal act of property damage.
The Carnduff RCMP detachment echoes the complainant's view, and further would like to highlight the risk of personal injury near and around the dam at the reservoir is high during any season.
