Jan Rutten grew up in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and her artistic talents were inspired by her high school art teacher. Flowers and seascapes are her favourite topics, and she works mostly in acrylic and watercolours. She has branched out into creating with beach glass, and has enjoyed attending art workshops over her 20 years of creating art.
