Carlyle Fun Dayz been a very popular summer weekend in Carlyle the last few years and will leave a bit of a void for those who marked it on their calendars for Aug. 15.

The event, which offers something for people of all ages, was cancelled earlier this year when the organizing committee made the decision that there were too many restrictions they would need to address to plan a safe event for all attending.

The community extravaganza has generated large crowds and is primarily organized to entertain, drawing from area communities in southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba. With the close vicinity to the popular resorts in the nearby Moose Mountain Provincial Park, it has attracted people from places everywhere including the East and West Coasts of Canada, points in the U.S. and even people who were visiting from Europe.

The event was to celebrate its fifth anniversary this August and will reschedule to Aug. 21, 2021, and will celebrate its fifth edition then, as had been planned. Mark that date on your calendars, with the extra time to plan it will be a must attend that will be sure to erase the memory of 2020.
