Carlyle Town Council held their meeting of the new four-year last week. Here is a recap of the meeting.

·      Council members gathered one hour prior to the meeting for a council orientation session, led chief administrative officer Natalie Miller.

·      The first Regular Meeting started at 7 p.m.. where all council members took their oath of office, swearing their pledge before RCMP Const. David Madill, also present were Const. Brandon Glasser and Cpl. Michael Parker.

·      The first meeting included the appointment of representatives to the various council committees, approving the deputy mayor schedule and updating signing authorities of the bank accounts. A thorough review of the monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations took place to educate the new members that are having their first look at the current budget.

·      The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 pm.
