New season

The Dance Zone is excited to be back for their 14th season with Carlyle and area families.

Under the new direction of Ashley Heggs, classes will be held at the Carlyle Memorial Hall on Wednesdays for ages 2-18. Heggs brings an extensive dance background with her and is excited to be expanding dance opportunities in Carlyle.

Heggs began dancing at the age of six and completed several ballet, tap and jazz examinations over the years. She is accredited with the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers and holds two certifications with acrobatic divisions.

Classes are filling up quickly but there is still room to enroll for the 2020-21 season that will start this week and continue until early May. Classes being offered are ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and acro.

Assisting Heggs is local dancer Emma Lees, who began dancing at the age of three with The Dance Zone. She is entering her Grade 12 year at Arcola School.

The Dance Zone is committed to giving student the safest and most up to date training available, and they have implemented many safety protocols COVID-19 prevention that can be obtained by emailing the studio at dancezone@sasktel.net.

The Dance Zone takes pride in being a family orientated studio, with accredited teachers, and offering all children the opportunity to succeed.
