Emergency crews called to incident in southeast Estevan

Emergency crews have been called to an incident in the southeast industrial area of Estevan on Monday morning.

Details are limited at this time, but there have been reports that it was an explosion. The location is believed to be in the vicinity of the Regens Metals yard.

A thick cloud of smoke hovered over the southeast area of the city.

Perkins Street east of Kensington Avenue was closed off as emergency crews continue to respond.
