With the semester’s end approaching, grade 10-12 final exams are coming soon. Finals for grade 10-12 students are scheduled from Thursday, January 25, to Tuesday, January 30.
A huge thanks to the School Community Council and all of the parents who sent gifts of food to the staff during the holiday season. It was thoroughly enjoyed!
The annual Holiday Mosaic Potluck Meal and Volleyball Competition was again a big success. Thank you to the community RCMP, Firefighters, and EMT members who came out to play some volleyball against the students and staff. A big thank you to Mr. Johnson for organizing the event.
The GFK Students Against Drinking and Driving chapter sold “Mocktails” and cotton candy the last week of school before the break to raise funds for programs to raise awareness of the drinking and driving issue.
Band students of GFK are selling their usual fruit, cookie dough, desserts and others for their annual fundraiser. Feel free to support the band program of GFK and purchase some amazing yummies....;)
Fitness Club continues in the New Year on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 7:45 – 8:30AM. All fitness levels are welcome. Come out and get your day started with some fitness.
