Elsie Cameron, who resides at the Moose Mountain Lodge, recently celebrated her 105th birthday.
She was born Elsie Campbell on Nov. 18, 1915, and is the only daughter to Robert Linden Campbell and Mary Jane Campbell. She had four older brothers and two younger brothers.
Cameron married Eoin Cameron in 1939, and moved with him through his career. They lived in Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal, Alford Bay on Haida Gwaii in B.C., Comox, B.C., Greenwood, N.S., and settled down in Carlyle.
She has two children, a son and a daughter.
Elsie was a very tidy and clean homemaker and always had the prettiest clothing. She was also known for being a fantastic cook and baked the best buns in the country. Cameron loved to have company at her home and enjoying the family get-togethers.
Residing at the Moose Mountain Lodge, she still looks awesome and continues to play cribbage.
