I think I could paint

Just one year into her retirement after 35 years in education, Margaret Delainey of Regina decided she thought she could paint. She took her first art class through the Prairie Arts Guild in Regina and is now a permanent member of the MMPP Artists Colony.

Working in acrylic and water colour, she preferred landscapes and flowers, with sunflowers being her favourite. She has just begun branching out into birds and during her second retreat, she has been working on a large watercolour of a heron.
