I have been self-isolating since noon on Friday, March 20. My husband, Brian has moved to a suite at his sister’s, Barb and her husband Darren’s home.
I had started isolating at our rental in Mexico, trying to come in contact with as few people as possible. Then, of course the repatriation flight home by Westjet and you are back amongst hundreds of people again at the airports and on the planes.
I must say West Jet was amazing. They treated us all so professionally and with such kindness. They kept reinforcing the importance of proper hygiene and coughing into your elbow, hand washing, etc.
Since being isolated I have just been finishing projects started and spring cleaning. My husband leaves groceries at the back door and my son brings my mail the same way. I wave from down the hallway. I am hoping everyone does their part to end this COVID-19, so we can all put it behind us.
