Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are bath days and by that time lots of us have had the luxury of the Whirlpool tub. Monday afternoon brings us Doris Erickson with her activities and exercises. Tuesday we had after breakfast music with Cheryl Friesen at piano.
It was so enjoyable you couldn't help but sing along. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we played two-card Bingos and a floor curling game. Wednesday evening was our usual sing along with Mary Thiessen on the guitar. Friday brought us exercises with massage therapist Marlee Swallow, who soon found muscles we didn't know we had.
Maryfleld Lions Club gave us residents a Christmas gift of an IPad for our use to connect with our family and friends who we cannot visit. Many thanks for your thoughtfulness.
My horoscope, Taurus, said this week "sometimes the road you are travelling on has an unexpected detour, rather than get frustrated by the situation, just enjoy the new scenery that comes along the way." This seems fitting for these days.
