L-R: Kristina Villeta and Rosales Busog will be cooking up the big taste of the Philippines on Nov. 14 and 18.

Southeast Regional Library will be presenting a cooking class for registrants on Thursday evenings, Nov. 14 and 28, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. It will take place at the Carlyle Memorial Hall.

Rosales Busog and Kristina Villeta will be the host cooks and will be demonstrating how to cook a couple of staple Philippine dishes. They will be cooking pansit, a dish made with noodles and lumpia, which is a spring roll made using pork and vegetables.

The first class was filled and a second night was added, which is also booked.

Rosales and Kristina are volunteering their cooking skills. They are both eager to share the taste of the Philippines with those that registered and there is a good chance they will be doing another demonstration in the new year.
