Redvers Knights of Columbus give royal treatment to Special Needs Group Homes

SE Sask Special Care Homes get Special Treatment at Redvers Knights of Columbus 37th Annual Hallowe’en Party and Spaghetti Feast.

October 17 was a special day for the members of the South East Saskatchewan Special Needs Group Homes to travel to Redvers for the Hallowe’en Party and Spaghetti dinner prepared and served by Council #4850 Knights of Columbus at the Parish Hall of Our Lady Fatima Catholic Church.

Members of the Council gathered the night before to prepare the meat sauce under the talented guidance of Mr. Marius Erickson who inherited the job from Mr. Roberto Pesenti who was the founder of this annual event in 1982.

Chief cook and bottle washers prepared all the gallons of special Italian Spaghetti & Meat Sauce under the direction of Marius Erickson who always does it to perfection.

This year we hosted approximately 190 special guests from various centres in S.E. Sask., such as Weyburn, Estevan, Carnduff, Carlyle, Carievale, Langenburg and also some guests from Manitoba.
