Thirty-two Students from across Canada (four from Saskatchewan) were chosen to attend the RCMP Training Academy (Depot) from March 25th to the 29th. These students were selected on their academic achievement, community engagement, and their interest in policing.

These students will interact with police officers from various units of the RCMP. Activities will include visits to police training classes, drill classes, police driver’s training classes, firearms simulators, tours of Depot and the RCMP Heritage Centre and much more.

This is a great experience and I am proud to announce that our Detachment area had two individuals selected to participate. Mykel BIERMANN from Manor and Tucker SHARP from Carlyle were selected and I know they will be great representatives of their schools, communities and our Detachment area.

Congratulations Tucker and Mykel.
