It is with broken hearts that the family announce the passing of Eleanor Adams of Stoughton, SK on Friday, July 7, 2017 at her home at the age of 79 years.
Eleanor was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She enjoyed her Bingo, Cribbage tournaments and spending time with her family and friends. Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Martha (nee Henry) Krell; husband Joseph Marshall Adams; son Wayne Marshall Adams; and granddaughter Rachelle Lynn Adams.
Left to cherish their fond memories are her children, David (Tammi) Adams, Linda (Jim) Beckman, Neil (Maria) Adams, Dwight (Debbie) Adams, and Lincoln (Diana) Adams; and daughter-in-law Angela Adams. Also left with a lifetime of memories are Eleanor’s siblings, Ernie (Linda) Krell, Lorne (Jenny) Krell, Doreen (Ron) Pengally, Donnie (Lois) Krell, Gordon (Gwen) Krell, and Donna (Daryl) Velestuk; and sister-in-law Nora Skuce. Eleanor will be deeply missed by her 13 granchildren and nine great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Eleanor’s life was held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stoughton Legion, Stoughton, SK with celebrant Heather Balon Lay. Interment took place at the Stoughton Town Cemetery followed by lunch at the Stoughton Legion. All in attendance were considered honorary pallbearers.
