Beatrice “Bea” A. Martel of Oliver, BC passed away at the South Okanagan Hospital on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the age of 94 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Robert Martel, granddaughters: Shelley and Sherry; great grandchildren: Benjamin and Nathalie, sister Flo Gervais, sister in law Betty Leclerc as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bea was predeceased by her husband Rene Martel (1968). As per family’s request, flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial donations in Beatrice’s memory may be made to the Oliver Senior Centre; Kiwanis Club of Oliver; Royal Canadian Legion Branch 97; or to the Heritage House, Oliver.
