Thank you Cindy Moffatt for writing the editorial in the Feb. 22nd edition of The Observer. Everyone should respond to her request that we contact our parliamentarians by phone or in writing. I called to each of those numbers this morning and asked them if they had read the comments in the Carlyle paper and told them this was a heads up as to what was to follow. Please everyone follow through. We need to give them a huge reminder that they and Sun Country are not serving the residents of this area in an acceptable way.
When our doctor left three years ago and the hospital closed I chose to remain in Sun Country and we drove to Weyburn to see doctors. When a doctor was recruited for Redvers we returned here. I felt that Moosomin was over-taxed and we should remain in our home town. Now once again we are left with no doctor. I am a 24/7 caregiver and what am I to do now? I am left with fear and concern for ourselves, for our community and for the surrounding area.
