Carlyle skaters receive awards

On Monday, March 16 Carlyle Skating Club held its final practice and skate of the year.

         On Monday, March 16 Carlyle Skating Club held its final practice and skate of the year. Receiving word that Skate Saskatchewan was cancelling all sanctioned events in the province due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the club would have to cancel the planned ice show that was to take place on Sunday, Mar. 22 at the Carlyle Sports Arena.

         The club selected Kaylee Mudrewich for the Artistry Award and Kati Van Winkoop was chosen Outstanding Skater by the club.

                  Receiving club nominations for Skate Saskatchewan were Rylee Brady: Section Can Skate Athlete Award, Brynn Chapman: Star Skate of the Year Award and Tiana Delalleau; Program Assistant Award.
