The Southeast Vipers Volleyball Club’s 17U team competed on Saturday, Jan. 14, and Sunday, Jan. 15, in Yorkton in their first tournament of the season. The girls played in a nine-team round robin amongst 17 and 18U teams. Although settling in the first couple of games they came out and found success. The team took on Fort Qu’appelle, Invermay, Carlyle, Lanigan, Muenster, Esterhazy, and Yorkton.
Only the top two teams from the round robin made playoffs and the Vipers would like to congratulate the Redcoat Rebels based in Carlyle on their efforts in making the final. It was a weekend of great volleyball.
