Living Skies Crossfit in Carlyle hosted an Olympic weightlifting clinic ran by Kasandra Kopytko. It was the first of hopefully many events sponsored by the South Sask. Weightlifting Initiative, whose goal is to build the sport of Olympic weightlifting in the south part of the province. Living Skies will also be hosting a weightlifting competition geared towards Novice and Intermediate level lifters at our Estevan location on February 23. Olympic weightlifting and crossfit are terrific sports for athletes of all ages to participate and also excellent supplemental training for other sports as well.
